Targeting younger audiences with environmental issues, updates and innovations, educational news magazine show “Eco Company” never filmed outside of its home state of California — until this week.
From the environmentally-aware region of San Francisco, the award-winning and teen-friendly production covering climate change, alternative fuels and conservation, among other topics, is touring Connecticut. And on its first stop, the crew chose Torrington’s FuelCell Energy plant in the heart of the Litchfield Hills.
The production, preparing itself for a third season, kicked-off its tour of the Nutmeg State by touring the clean energy plant and interviewing workers on the process of creating a fuel cell.
